Designer (Production Drafting Specialist)

Location: Remote (Candidates based in Latin America preferred for time zone overlap)

FBC Remodel is expanding its remote production model and hiring a Latin America-based Designer to support our U.S. Senior Designers. This role is built for efficiency, precision, and scalable production support, while maintaining high-quality drafting standards for luxury residential remodeling projects in the United States.

You will not be responsible for sales.

You will not manage clients.

You will focus strictly on design, production, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Senior Designer sketches into build-ready plans
• Develop floor plans, elevations, and layout details in Chief Architect
• Create accurate scopes of work for estimating
• Revise plans quickly based on feedback
• Maintain clean, organized digital files
• Support multiple U.S.-based projects simultaneously
• Work during partial overlap with U.S. business hours

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ minimum)
• 3 or more years of drafting or architectural production experience
• Proficiency in Chief Architect (strongly preferred) or Revit/AutoCAD (with willingness to learn Chief Architect)
• Close attention to detail and strong deadline discipline
• Reliable internet and professional remote setup

Compensation 

• Engagement Type: Independent contractor
• Expected workload equivalent to full-time availability (40 hours per week)
• Compensation Range: $9 to $13 USD per hour (Depending on experience and Chief Architect proficiency)
• Requires partial overlap with U.S. business hours for coordination
• Long-term contract opportunity

We are not seeking entry-level candidates; we are looking for mid- to senior-level production designers who can work independently with minimal oversight.
