Do you genuinely love people and the remodel journey? Would it energize you to work for a company obsessed with building joy? As a Senior Designer, you will lead homeowners through the full design-build sales process. You will capture their vision, create and present design concepts, close projects, and partner with production teams to bring your designs to life.
You will also lead and develop an Interior Designer who supports the technical execution of your projects. This is a design + sales leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture the homeowner's vision and translate it into inspired design concepts
- Present multiple design solutions and close plan reviews
- Secure signed contracts and finalize all design details
- Lead and manage an Interior Designer responsible for construction notes, 2D & 3D renderings, and material selections
- Ensure a joyful, high-touch client experience through planning
- Create innovative, functional design solutions
- Demonstrate strong active listening to truly understand the homeowner's needs
- Attend closing walks and job completion reviews
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (annual sales targets 4 Mil)
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of sales-related experience
- Degree or certificate in Architecture, Space Planning, and/or Interior Design
- Familiarity with blueprints, construction notes, and estimates
- Proficiency in Chief Architect (working knowledge required before start date). Familiarity with 20/20 and AutoCAD is a plus.
- Ability to learn and execute the FBC Remodel design/sales process

Performance Expectations
- After full onboarding as Senior Designer:
- Expected sales target of ~$333,000 per month in closed project value, based on historical top-performer benchmarks and supported leads.
Pay and Benefits
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Base Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
Commission:
- 1.6% of contract cost
- Expected commission range: $48,000 to $64,000 annually

- 1.6% of contract cost
- Base Salary: $55,000 to $70,000
- Commission is paid on closed, executed contracts according to the company payroll schedules.
